2014; a wedding photography retrospective….
2014 has been an amazing year photographically. We had the pleasure of photographing some amazing couples on their most special of days as well as some engagement shoots, romantic strolls along the beach and some wonderful walks in the woods!
I made a big effort this year with some personal photography, on both film and digital. You can head over here to see some of those stories….
Professionally, it has been immensely rewarding and very humbling…we have won several awards for our wedding images from the most prestigious world wide wedding photography organisations, including the WPJA and the ISPWP.
The year got off to an amazing start with being invited for inclusion in The Best of Wedding Photography, here’s what they said:

Reading that again reminds me that I’m still blown away by this!
Towards the end of the year, we were thrilled to find out that we had been nominated in the Wedding Industry Awards in the category North West Photographer of the year and then shortlisted as a regional finalist. This was awesome because all the votes came from our 2014 brides. We found out later that every couple who was eligible to vote had done and we had an average score of 9.8 out of 10!!
So , as the door swings shut with a clang on an amazing 2014, we look forward to more awesomeness in 2015….
