Andy and Louise’s Double Tree Liverpool wedding photography.
We’d been looking forward to shooting Andy and Louise’s wedding photography at the stunning Doubletree Hotel in Liverpool. We have been to several wedding open evenings at the Hotel, and it was great to finally shoot a wedding there! It really is a beautiful hotel and full of original features. The ceremony took place at Bishop Eaton Church followed by a few relaxed family portraits in Sefton Park.
Andy and Louise’s wedding coincided with Liverpool Pride and this really added a carnival atmosphere to their arrival at the hotel after the ceremony. Lots of revellers wanted to wish them well and joined in with some of the photos. There were lots of sights to see, as you can imagine. Bus loads of party goers, people finding it difficult to stay up right to a bunch of Police officers pushing a taxi to get it going!
Speeches and a surprise.
Before the wedding breakfast, there were some sincere and funny speeches. There was an amazing surprise organised by the best man. Andy is an Arsenal fan and the Best Man had somehow managed to get a personal message to Louise and Andy from Robbie Fowler! He wished them well and also reminded Andy of his 4 minute hat-trick against Arsenal at Anfield!
