Wedding photography at Liverpool’s 30 James Street Hotel.
” The Grade II* listed building was built for the Ismay, Imrie Shipping Company, which later became known as the White Star Line. Following the death of founder Thomas Ismay, his son, J Bruce Ismay, became chairman and managing director of the company, and created some of White Star Line’s most famous ships, including RMS Titanic, whose port of registry was the White Star Line headquarters, which now serves as 30 James Street, a Titanic-themed hotel.”
Anna and Dave’s wedding at Bridge Chapel and reception at 30 James Street Hotel, Liverpool.
What an amazing day we had the pleasure to document for Anna and Dave. We met up with them as Dave arrived at Bridge Chapel. As the excitement was building, Anna arrived dead on time(!!) and looked stunning. After a truly heartfelt and sincere ceremony, we headed off to 30 James Street for the reception. While the guests were enjoying the roof terrace, we headed over to the waterfront for some portraits. We were only there for around 15 minutes but managed to get some really beautiful shots. We made our way back to the hotel where Anna and Dave joined their guests out on the roof in The Carpathia Restaurant. The Mersey waterfront was a fantastic back drop to their celebrations as the guests showered them with confetti. The guests were called to be seated for their meal, but as it was a long way down, we had a few minutes to chat with Anna and Dave while we chilled out in the sun, still out on the terrace. We did a few more portraits with that amazing backdrop before we went down to the White Star Grand Hall for the speeches and reception meal.
It was a beautiful and warm early summer day and there were smiles and laughter everywhere you looked. Here are few images from the day. If you would like to see more of our work, head over to our galleries or you can see more stories here.
