Wedding photography in The Palm House, Liverpool

We were so delighted when Jen and Michael decided to book us to tell the story of their wedding at the stunning Palm House in Liverpool. The Palm House is one of Liverpool’s most iconic buildings and is an amazing venue for a wedding. It looks fabulous during the day but really comes into its own once the sun goes down!

Two people in love.

It was obvious to everyone that Jen and Michael are totally head over heels in love with each other, and that completely shone out of them both throughout the day. Both the groom’s and the bridal party were relaxed and excited on the morning of the big day. They had their ceremony at St Charles church in south Liverpool. As it turned out, the gentleman who was performing the ceremony was a parent and governor of the school where I used to teach. We had a good chat and a catch up before the ceremony and then he even said some kind words during the ceremony, which was lovely!

No, thank you!

We were thanked by different people lots of times on the day for being so unobtrusive and helpful. We actually ended up taking about 10 guests from the church to the Palm House in our cars to save them having to walk!

It was an absolute pleasure to photograph Michael and Jen’s special day and be made to feel so welcome by everyone. Congratulations to you both!  Finally, thank you so much for choosing Ian MacMichael photography to be your wedding photographers in Liverpool.
