Rustic tipi wedding photography Lancashire.
We’re so excited to share just a few images from Emily and Rich’s gorgeous rustic tipi wedding. Emily’s mum and dad, Andy and Justine are friends of ours and it was our pleasure to document their daughter’s wedding. For quite a while, Emily had had a really clear idea of how she wanted their wedding to look. They did lots of work themselves to make sure it was how they had dreamed. Most of the wooden accessories were hand made by Andy. He put his heart and soul into the creation of lots of lovely pieces. They we so good in fact that he is now offering those pieces for hire for other weddings! You can have a look at what’s on offer here!
Glorious sunshine for the whole day!
The tipi and glamping tents were erected in the field belonging to Andy and Justine’s next door neighbour. It really was amazing and the perefect setting for a rustic Lancashire wedding! It was all supplied, set up and managed by All ABout Me Events who did a super job! Hazel spent the moring with Emily and her party at her mum and dad’s house. I was over at Rich’s mum and dad’s with the groomsmen. We headed off to the church while the bridal party arrived in a vintage VW Campler. Well, what else did you expect?! In the church, the vicar was insistent that we couldn’t be near the front at all to take any photographs. Of course, we totally respect this. It is such a shame that some of the most special moments of the day can only be shot from the back. We worked really hard and managed to get some beautiful shots in spite of this restriction.
To the tipi!
It was only a short ride in the Cmaper to the tipi where guests were enjoying some drinks in the sun. The setting was amazing with the main tipi surrounded by smaller glamping tents where lots of the guests were going to be staying. It really did look amazing! It was a tribute to Emily’s vision and all the hard work Andy and Justine had put in to make the day perfect. We had a stroll around the field with Emily and Rich and shot some stunning portriats in the golden afternoon sun light.
Into the eveing with dancing and fires.
After the meal and the speeches, it was time for some chilling out in the early eveing warmth. It wasn’t long before the evening buffet arrived in the shape of a traditional fish and chip van which everyone really enjoyed. Inside the tipi, there were some fires lit and the guests enjoyed toasting some marshmallows over the open flames. Nom nom!
